Welcome to the Scotsdales Children’s Gardening Club
We want to show you that being in the great outdoors can be both fun and educational no matter what the weather. To help us do this, we host a number of excellent events throughout the year, utilising the seasons to create fun activities that are relevant to the time of year and showcase the benefits that nature gives in the changing environment.
Most of these exciting activities take place at weekends and during school holidays, with special themed events at times like Easter, Halloween and Christmas. They’re designed for children between 5 and 12 years old, but our Little Seedlings club is for 2 to 5 year olds, with activities year round.
We also focus on topics such as garden and local wildlife children are likely to encounter to educate on the appropriate way to interact and provide support for all of the fun creatures they may come across.
If you can’t make it to one of our stores for a fun activity, then don’t panic. We also have a few fun games and activities available to download from our website to let the fun continue at home.
Why should you join the Scotsdales Children’s Gardening Club?
All of our children’s events and activities are available to all, but we will provide advanced notices in our children’s club newsletter that is sent out every month directly to children’s club members.
Join our Children’s Gardening Club for exclusive news before anyone else about upcoming events and fun instore activities for children aged between 2 and 12 years old.
Joining is easy and only takes a few minutes.

Gardens can be a fun and educational place for children to play and learn, that’s why encouraging gardening will not only benefit the environment, but a child’s well being as well.
Why not pick up a few handy tips on how best to keep a child’s attention in the garden.
Learn some fun trivia facts about the local wildlife you might find in your garden or the local park such as honey bees, butterflies and wild birds.
For example, did you know that there are currently over 400 recorded species of wild birds in the UK?
We also provide a few handy tips on how we can help them thrive throughout the year.
We want gardening to be fun and what better way that to incorporate these ideas into a series of free games and puzzles for children.
Our games include word searches, puzzles, maze’s and more.
Why not download some of these fun games that you can play at home on a rainy day?
Inspire children to take an interest in the local wildlife in your area with our fun wildlife bingo sheet featuring common garden species to a few more obscure animals.
Played our wildlife bingo before? Then why not use our sheet as a guideline to make a new list of popular animals in your area?
Fun ideas to inspire creativity at home.
It’s not always easy to get out of the house, especially with little ones, so why not try a fun activity together at home?
We have a few ideas up our sleeves, like how to make a frozen dinosaur egg.
Whether you’re a member of the Children’s Gardening Club or not, we sincerely hope that you make the most of the events and activities we have available. Scotsdales hopes to inspire the next generation of avid gardeners and we’d like to hope that that journey can start here.
