The Westland Multi-Purpose Compost with John Innes 25 litre is perfect for all life stages of plants and for seed sowing. It's ideal for stronger plant development, more flowers, more vibrancy and longer plant life. This advanced nutrient-rich compost is an ideal general purpose compost for most young plants, providing the correct growing conditions for optimum growth. It contains loam (John Innes), formulated to hold water and nutrients for longer; protecting plants from under or over-feeding by releasing nutrients when needed. Perlite has also been added to improve the compost structure and allow adequate air movement around the roots. This special formula helps retain nutrients and water for longer.
