Most well known for Saffron the expensive culinary spice. Deep lavender-lilac flowers with purple veins and 3 long red stigmas (the source of Saffron). Excellent for naturalising in wild gardens rockieries and between shrubs.

  • Crocus will grow in a wide range of soils provided there is good drainage. They like sunshine but the flowers will last longer in partial shade
