How to Use
Ideal for worn areas, patches, turf underlay and new lawns. Not suitable for ericaceous (acid-loving) plants.
First put on a pair of gloves and rework soil between hands to reconstitute. Then you’re all set!
Top Dressing
- Fill in any hollows and improve lawn growing conditions by using as a top-dressing.
- Spread in a layer approximately 1-2cm deep all across the lawn and work into the grass using a stiff brush or the back of a rake.
New Lawns
- Clear debris and weeds from the area.
- Once the weeds are dead, dig or rotavate the soil, removing roots and rubble.
- Firm the soil by treating and raking until flat and even.
- Spread Westland Lawn Seeding Soil to a depth of 3-4cm. Sow grass seed or lay turf as per supplier instructions.
Top Dressing Tip
- Incorporate grass seed into lawn seeding soil just before using as a top dressing, then water in once the mix has worked into the existing grass.
