Local Delivery:

The Scotsdales local delivery team are only able to deliver items ordered online within a 30-mile radius of our Great Shelford store (120 Cambridge Road, Great Shelford, CB22 5JT). Once an order has been placed, we will be in contact to confirm a delivery date for you.

National Delivery:

We use a third-party company to assist with UK nationwide deliveries of large items such as garden furniture and BBQ’s. Delivery fees are dependent on the size of the item and the delivery address. To request a quote, please contact us on 01223 842777 or email esales@scotsdales.com with –

Where do you deliver to?

Delivery Radius
Delivery is available for areas within 30miles of any of our stores when placing orders over the phone, otherwise delivery is 30 miles from our Great Shelford store (120 Cambridge Road, Great Shelford, CB22 5JT) when placing orders online.

We currently aim to get all furniture delivered within 14 days of purchase.

Can I still place an order online for delivery?

Yes of course, we would encourage this service for those who are sheilding, vunerable and any customer during lockdown periods. 
 We are continually adding more products to our webstore but if there is a product you're looking for which you can't find online then please call our Great Shelford store on 01223 842777 and we can look at creating a phone order for you if the product is in stock.

We are following the advice of Public Health England and are still making deliveries for online orders. However, we are only able to deliver to within a 30 miles radius of our Great Shelford store (120 Cambridge Road, Great Shelford, CB22 5JT). 

Our normal delivery days are not in practice, instead we will contact you when a suitable delivery date has been scheduled. 

Can I still receive delivery of parcels?

Yes. Public Health England (PHE) has advised that people receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting the coronavirus (COVID-19). It is understood that these types of viruses don’t survive long on objects such as letters or parcels. This complements the highly publicised guidance from PHE for people to wash their hands more often than usual using soap and hot water.

Can I still receive delivery of larger items?

We are still delivering the majority of larger items. However, there are a small number of large products that are currently unavailable because they exceed a certain size or weight. These items require two people to deliver them, and with the current social distancing measures that are in place, we are temporarily unable to operate some of our services.   

Please note: on arrival to your property, we will only be able to deliver your goods to either your doorstep, or to a garage or outbuilding. We're sorry that we will not be able to enter your main premises at this time.  

Should I be concerned about touching an order I have received or collected?

Public Health England have said that there’s no current evidence to suggest that the virus can be transmitted from packages.

What if I am self isolating or do not wish to come into contact with a delivery driver?

If you have received an order confirmation email, then this order is being processed. We will then contact you when possible to advise of delivery date for your goods.

On arrival to your property, we will only be able to deliver your goods to either your doorstep, or to a garage or outbuilding. We're sorry that we will not be able to enter your main premises at this time.

Local Delivery

Due to the current situation with COVID-19, we will be running a limited delivery service. Our delivery restrictions different for category listings. 

Local Delivery:

Garden Furniture & BBQ - we are only able to deliver to within a 30 mile radius of our Great Shelford store (120 Cambridge Road, Great Shelford, CB22 5JT). We currently aim to get all furniture delivered within 14 days of purchase.

All other products - we are only able to deliver to within a 15 mile radius of our stores.

Courier Delivery: 

We use a third-party courier option to deliver selected smaller items. Prices may vary dependent on item type and weight. Our online offering will only allow for courier deliveires to mailand UK. If you're based in Ireland or Northern Ireland then please contact us on 01223 842777 for an individual quote. 

Click & Collect

We offer a free Click and Collect service. Collection of items ordered online are to be made from our Great Shelford store only (120 Cambridge Road, Great Shelford, CB22 5JT). 

If you would prefer to collect your items from our Fordham or Horningsea stores, please contact us on 01223 842777 to discuss if this option may be available. Please be aware that we cannot promise this option at any time.  

Royal Mail

Royal Mail Delivery: 

We offer free Royal Mail 1st Class post service for orders of gift vouchers bought online or over the phone. We aim to post all vouchers within 24 hours of original order date. 

Returns
  • If you’re not totally happy with anything you’ve bought from us, you can return it for an exchange or refund.
  • Items bought in our garden centres can be returned within 28 days with proof of purchase.
  • After 28 days, items can still be returned at the discretion of our staff, excluding garden tools, electrical goods, and plants under our 1-year guarantee.
  • Items bought from our website can also be returned: please call us first on 01223 842777.
  • Scotsdales are fully compliant with all regulations concerning distance selling. You can return any item you’re not happy with within 28 days of receiving it provided you have contacted us within 7 working days of receipt to advise of its return.
  • Unless the item is faulty, you’ll need to pay postage to return it to us.
  • For your protection and peace of mind, we recommend you use a recorded delivery service, and check that the compensation value covers the value of the item.
  • To get a full refund, simply return the item to us in its original condition, in its original packaging within 28 days of cancellation.
