Job Description
The Sunflower café is a busy, fast-paced working environment that prepares breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea.
We are looking for someone with a good work ethic, great attitude and willingness to learn. We offer a great opportunity to progress within the team as well as food safety qualifications and other relevant training under senior staff members.
Shifts – Sunday, with additional hours available during holiday periods.
Duties:
- Warmly great and serve customers, taking food orders through computerised till and serving cakes
- Create and serve hot drinks using fully manual barista coffee machine
- Operate payment till, processing payments and warmly assisting customers
- Taking hot food to customer’s tables professionally and diligently
- Clearing and cleaning tables once customers have left and maintaining a clean environment
Capabilities:
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
- Passion for customer service and exceptional hospitality
- Good communication skills
- Previous barista experience desirable but not essential
- Previous till operation experience or willingness to learn
- Willingness to follow tasks and requests from senior team members
- To comply with all food hygiene, Health and Safety at work, COSHH, and Manual Handling regulations

Pay rate advertised is for ages 21 plus. Competitive rates for ages 18-20.
