Part Time – Shifts available – Saturday / Sunday

The Sunflower Café in Scotsdales Great Shelford is looking for a Café Assistant to join their team. It is a busy, fast-paced working environment that prepares breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea.

We are looking for someone with a good work ethic, great attitude and willingness to learn. We offer a great opportunity to progress within the team as well as food safety qualifications and other relevant training under senior chefs.

Main Duties

Provide exceptional customer service
Create and serve hot drinks using fully manual barista coffee machine
Operate payment till and processing payments
Taking hot food to customer’s tables professionally and diligently
Clearing and cleaning tables and maintaining a clean environment
Stock inventory and replenish supplies as needed

To comply with all food hygiene, Health and Safety at work, COSHH, and Manual Handling regulations
Be happy and prepared to move between departments, as the needs of the business require

Rate of pay shown is based on age 21 plus, competitive rates for 18-20.

Note: Prior experience in a café or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
